OUR STORY

Getting Back To The Basics

Both my husband, Kit, and myself come from a rural farming background. We currently reside in our hometown of Jackson County Michigan where we, along with our children, grow and cultivate a diverse assortment of fresh produce. We also raise, breed and show small livestock including goats, sheep and poultry.

We are incredibly proud to pass along our love of nature, animals, and agriculture to our children.

Our hope is to share that experience with you by offering the best organic products there is to offer.

GROVELAND FARMS

We are located in the small town of Parma, Michigan. Parma was originally located a few miles east of its current location along the Michigan Central Railroad at a stop known as Gidley's Station. When it was moved to its current location, it was known as Groveland, after a noticeable grove of trees within the town. Part of this grove still exists where Grove St. curves around a copse of trees near its intersection with Westlawn St. in the eastern half of Parma. When the village was incorporated in 1847, its name was changed to Parma. Upon the purchase of our farm, we lovingly chose to pay homage to our small town, thus our home became Groveland Farms.

100% ORGANIC

We pride ourselves in the fact that everything grown, raised and harvested on our farm is 100% organic. All of our trees and plants are treated exclusively with OMRI (Organic Materials Review Institute) approved fertilizers and pest controls. We are dedicated to clean, sustainable agriculture and in doing so we produce the best quality produce for both our family and yours.
